Swansea Metropolitan University's School of Digital Media presents
its 2009 Graduate Show: extrude.tag.click.record.
The 2009 Graduate Show and recruitment opportunity opens at the National Waterfront Museum on Saturday 30th May, commencing at 7pm.
Neil Thompson, Art Director for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Ceri Sherlock, Commissioning Executive (Arts), BBC Cymru Wales, will be opening this award-winning School's show. The School of Digital Media has gained an international reputation for the quality of the programmes and their graduates work.
Leading 3D artists publication 3D World voted Swansea Met's School of Digital Media as one of the top ten UK institutions for computer graphic imagery (CGI).
3D Animation, Multimedia, Interactive Digital Media, Creative Computer Games Design, Computer Games Development and Music Technology are all subjects taught in the School, who, by developing programmes in close liaison with industry, enable their graduates to gain excellent jobs in the digital media sector.

amperSAND is a forum and meeting place for professionals and enthusiasts working in all aspects of digital media, which welcomes businesses, students, independent artists and people with an interest in animation, computer games, digital art, and other production areas in these sectors.
Each amperSAND event focuses on a particular field - from animation to web design, digital music to multimedia with speakers from the industry and the opportunity for discussion. Past presenters have included Aardman Animation, Lionhead Studios, the BBC, Paul Granjon (artist), Rowlands UK, Jonathan Clements (Anime authority), Imaze and many others of equal calibre.
amperSAND is closely associated with the annual international animation and CG conference event SAND (Swansea Animation Days), linked through its aims and function to engender innovative ideas, business collaboration and the convergence of digital technologies.
Both events are initiated and organised by Swansea Metropolitan University's School of Digital Media, who run a raft of programmes in computer animation, creative computer games design, multimedia, interactive media and music technology from HND, BA, BSc to Masters level.
